Halo 3 makes $300 million in first week!

CNN.com reports that Microsoft's Halo 3 has officially become a global phenomenon, breaking $300 million in sales in the first week. Sales of the Xbox 360 have skyrocketed as well, doubling since the release of the final chapter of the Halo trilogy. Xbox Live is flourishing like never before, with more than 2.7 million people playing the game online in the first week, more than one third of all those subscribed to the service.
